The second is our latest Collaboration Café which will take place on Friday 26th June 2026.

Thanks to a great suggestion in our last CSR meeting, this will build on past themes rather than introducing new ones. We are focusing on ‘Watery Places’ and bringing together colleagues from across the university who are interested in water from scientific and/or social and creative perspectives. As always, we will be involving external organisations too. We’ve recently made links with a CIC in Southport, the Hearth, who are contributing.

The Café will follow our usual agenda of short presentations followed by discussion and networking. We will then have lunch followed by a creative workshop led by Dr Philippa Holloway.

This will be a great opportunity to think more imaginatively about our relationship with water. Again, the aim is to start to develop an interdisciplinary bid for external funding.

Download the invitation to access the agenda and book a place.
