Your university years are an age of discovery. A place to find your new favourite…well, everything, really. Our influences inform our identity. They become part of our DNA. A chance meeting can take you down the road less travelled. And believe it or not, our lecturers were once just like you, with their own unique origin stories.
With this in mind we’re asking our students to look behind the curtain, as they quiz Edge Hill’s academics about how they got here: what they were reading, what they were watching, who they were talking to…and why?
So if you’ve ever wondered whether your tutor is a Swiftie for life or a committed Dylanologist, a Corrie addict or fascinated by Chinese historical drama-thons, this is as good a place as any to start.

Dr Kim Wiltshire: not really a morning person…
