Conference: Action Learning

Action Learning: Releasing the Potential of Learning to Enable Sustainable Change;
Wednesday 4th February 2009;
Reebok Stadium, Bolton

The Action Learning community is diverse and flourishing. Many practitioners of action learning, whether they describe themselves as academics, business people, community people, elected members, executives or consultants etc, work largely within their own communities of practice.

This conference provides an opportunity to address the evolution of action learning and its potential to release learning which supports sustainable change. The conference explores this promising potential from a variety of perspectives. Individuals and groups who have experienced action learning will share their ‘stories’ of establishing, managing and sustaining action learning networks to support individual, business, organisational and community development.

The conference has been organised in association with Action Learning: Research and Practice ( and the Northern Action Learning Network.
