CLTR Conference Presentations – Schedule & Abstracts

Seventh CLTR Learning & Teaching Research Conference
Transitions and Transformations: Developing Learners and Learning Environment
Wednesday 4th June 2008, 08:45-17:00, Education Building, Ormskirk Campus

The presentation schedule and a booklet of presentation abstracts are now available on the CLTR Conference webstite.

As well as our two prominent keynote speakers, Prof Kay Sambell and Prof Sue Bloxham, we are offering 23 presentations from researchers, both local and national. Within the conference strands of First Year of Undergraduate Study, Taught Postgraduate Study, Tutors as Learners and Work in Progress, we have work of great range and depth covering topics as diverse as: building communities of learners; teaching the psychophysical imperative in undergraduate theatre practice; a study of tutor and student perceptions and expectations of reading lists; students as consumers or co-producers of the education experience; and academics’ development of scholarly identities.

To book a place please complete the online registration form on the conference website. Since SOLSTICE is holding its conference “eLearning and Learning Environments for the Future” on Thursday 5th June, booking for both conferences is being taken on the same form. The conference is free of charge to Edge Hill staff.
