Phases – Student journey and the 1st year experience


  • Action Group for the JISC project met up for discussion
  • After discussion with the Action group we have now identified a process that illustrates the 1st year experience – from expression of interest to enrolment.
  • The phases diagram (until we come up with a better title!) shows the student journey and the focus for each phase that we can feed into the journey.

  • After deciding on the phases we are now looking into existing content and potential content to plug into the CRM system.

Following on from the concept of adapting and adding value to the existing EHU website HI we have decided to strap this idea

Reason for this is that the Uni has just invested in a new CRM system. The HI website will probably have a complete upgrade.

The CRM system will provide a tool that will allow the Student Recruitment Team to better manage relationships between the University and the potential student and to be able to successfully and efficiently deliver communications to a target audience.

Based on this new system we have now decided to work in collaboration with Recruitment and Marketing to see if we can feed content into the site which directly relates to our brief from JISC.

We can plug the type of resources and processes we have been harvesting. Students will see these in relation to the following phases (phase discussion and decisions to follow).
