In the first week you will need to enrol in order to get your student card. Be careful with it you only get one and you will have to pay £10 to get a replacement! You don’t get a new one every year so don’t throw it in the bin at the end of the year!
You will have the same picture for three years so unlike me try to take off your coat and look happy! Once you get your card there should £200 bursary available on it. In my understanding everyone gets it but don’t quote me in case of a court trial because they could be some exceptions. (Please do leave a comment if you are a specialist in that sector or know something I don’t!)
This money can be use to buy printing credit, photocopies card and stationery at Blackwell. You can buy anything from the Blackwell’s website, you just need to create an account, choose what you want order and go to the LRC Blackwell’s shop to get your card swiped and they will deliver the items to the address of your choice.
If you want to have a look click on the picture below, and enjoy!

Lot’s of full-time undergrads get it, but not ‘everyone’. People on courses where someone else pays the fees, such as nursing, just get the card but no £200. More info here
