It’s cold, very very cold. Unfortunately this also means that everywhere you go it’s absolutely freezing. The building are cold and the class are just a little bit better. The lake (or very large pond) is frozen and the poor dukes are looking very sad and lost. At the moment the campus is looking more like a ski resort than a University. The snow as now been here for a week and even though it hasn’t snowed since there is still a good 10cm on the ground.

Luckily the staff have been able to clear the snow and if you stick to the cleared passage there is no risk to slip.

DONE! I have passed it! The key is to practice, practice, practice! The ICT skill test can be practiced on-line like all of the three test. The main difference is the software you will be tested on have been created especially for the purpose of the exercise. It does have a very similar feel to the microsoft software but it is much easier if you have had a good practice.

You won’t need to worry about these until your final year in order to book the test you will need your TRN Teacher Reference Number this can be found on the Go portal under the student central tab.

Once you have this number you will need to go to the TDA website in order to book the test in one of the centre. At the time of booking my test the edge hill centre was not yet open but I do believe it will reopen in November. There ae test centre in Liverpool, St Helens or Southport. Usually the centre are also running the DVLA theory. You will need to bring two form of ID when going to the test (one at least with a photo)
