Well on Monday i finally, after a long 3 and half months off moved my stuff into the house im going to be living in for second year. I felt so excited, i couldnt wait to get my room sorted, get my pictures and posters up and basically just make the room mine! I also couldnt wait to see my firends who i have really missed over the summer , Im really looking forward to properly starting back as a second year, although it will be harder and a lot more will be asked of me, im still really excited.

Although moving in was really exciting it is also a lot different to living in halls, when your in halls you take for granted your electric and gas and also your internet! This should all be part of the rent for the room you’ll be in whereas with a house you have to pay for these things as well as your rent. Some of you may have to live in a house for first year so if you are, at least remember that you will most probably have to pay extra for your gas and electric.

Fresher’s week isnt far away now and as i mentioned in a previous blog i will be working at the various events throughout the week, im really looking forward to meeting you and helping you settle in and feel comfortable at Edge Hill. I start training for it on monday so i shall let you all know what that is like and blog just before you all arrive on sunday!
