Quick question about your course as my sister is thinking of starting it in September.. any good? I did English so I wouldn’t know what the Media side is like!
Yeah it’s brilliant!
It’s kind of a 50/50 mix of theory and practice – there are the big campaign modules with things like identities, audiences and industry modules to back them up.
You don’t have to have had any formal experience with media-related subjects in the past to come on to the course, just a good head for ideas and a creative streak
P.S, There’s an applicant visit day I think in March some time, where people who’ve applied to come on to the course are invited to come and spend a day with the tutors, check out the facilities and do some workshops to get a taste of what it’s all about.
