As 2010 finally arrives, it is the start of a new and important year and I am going to make the most of it! I got back to uni on the 18th January and have settled back into uni after a month’s break at home with all my family and friends. I have already started my courses and this semester I am doing accounting, information systems, PDP and law under the business management program. However, as I am doing extra subjects this semester; I am now doing 14 hours instead of 8 last semester.
This year however is very important to me as a qualified adult girl guider. 2010 is the start of the new centenary; and I am celebrating along with Girl Guiding and the rest of the Worcestershire girl guiding association.
However; I can’t attend all the events due to me living away from home. But it doesn’t mean I still can’t get involved. Such as when I go back in the summer holidays, I will volunteer to help on centenary camps and enjoy all the events put on by girl guiding.
So I think this year is an important year for me personally and I look forward to it. Oh, and I have decided my new year’s resolution this year; is to get more involved within groups at uni and at home when I have spare time. I would however love to hear what everyone else is doing this year; and what your new year’s resolutions are..?
Keep in touch
