Maggie B Xmas Party

On Wednesday 9th December my accommodation hall had a Christmas and secret Santa party.  30 of us last week picked names out of a hat as to who we were buying our secret Santa present for and we all put our names on a list against a food and decoration item we would bring to the party.  I bought Nacho cheese crisps and some Christmas banners to the party.  For my secret Santa I got my friend some Xmas slipper sox and mini chocolate Santa’s and I received body butter, eyelash curlers, a hand bag and some pink earrings from my secret Santa.

We also did a secret Santa for the corridor I am living on and I got a washer basket, DVD game and photo album for my friend and received leopard skin slipper sox and some false nails from my secret Santa.

After we had exchanged our presents and shared out the food we went to the University club ‘The Venue’ at 10.30pm and had a fab night dancing and having fun with all our friends.

However I did learn one thing that night that even though I am a ‘poor student’ I can still have loads of fun and afford to do something for Christmas.  So if you are wondering how you’re going to afford presents for your friends, do a secret Santa as it only means you have to buy one present and it’s more exciting if you don’t know who it’s from.

Let me know how your Christmas parties went and what you did J
